Making a film is tough.
Making a film in 48 hours? Super tough.
We’re competing next weekend in the 48 Hour Film Project in Atlanta. Last year, Automatic Improv won “Best Comedy” and “Best Use of Required Character.” Yeah, we know, we’re awesome.
This festival is pretty much as close as it gets to improvising a movie. Characters, scripts, locations, equipment, musical scores and editing all must be done in the 48 hour time frame – no predetermined work can make its way in the movie.
Here’s last year’s video, “Helping Hands.” We’ll keep you posted on next weekend’s proceedings!
