What do you get when you combine Automatic Improv and TNT? An explosion of fun!
There was a very special opportunity for Automatic Improv this past week. We were invited to perform at Hard Rock Cafe for a fundraiser for Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Team in Training (TNT). It was a wonderful chance to use improv to support a fantastic cause. Autumn, our hostess for the event (and the one striking that awesome pose in the center), asked us to help her on her quest to raise $4,000; a feat that will culminate with her completing a triathlon in June and donating money to cancer research.
The night was full of food, drinks, raffle prizes, and laughter. The highlight of the night was seeing so many of Autumn’s friends support her in her quest for such a major life event. Oh, and maybe when I got to play a day in Anna’s life. She was described as “pretty” and it was an honor to play her! As you might have guessed, she was very pretty.
Special thanks to Hard Rock Cafe for hosting in their very cool Velvet Underground room reserved for concerts and private events. If you missed the chance to join us last week but still want to help out such a wonderful cause, you can visit Autumn’s team page and donate. Anything you can give will go a long way in helping patients suffering from cancer and further cancer research.
Finally, thank you to Autumn for including us. We’re not quite fit enough for the triathlon but were so thankful to be involved! Best of luck in June!!
Yours in Training,
